Because you can't use it in the very front, it is prudent to keep the Abomination in the 2nd or 3rd position.īeast's Bile: Blights the two middle enemies, but does no damage. You can build him as a stunner or for damage, either one helps this ability. Manacles: A stun that comes with a decent amount of damage attached. This is very unique to the Abomination nobody else can do something like this. Note that transforming doesn't actually use up an action you can transform and use another ability in the same round.

However, at rank 5 he is no longer slowed by turning back into a human, so it becomes even better. Transforming back to human heals him, but also slows him down. So killing something with a critical hit can help mitigate the stress generated in transforming. Note that critical hits cause stress heals, as well as killing a target. Yeah it causes stress across the board as well, so choose carefully when you are going to go into beast mode. Transformation: Turning into Beast form gives you bonus damage. and even so the stress dmg in the dark is insane (pun intended) if you do dark runs you'll probably not gonna have one ♥♥♥ in your roster without a tester or doggo. And you can rake the Pounders away like butter. Also all the Swine-bosses (Prince, King, God) with Arb + Hm + Hm + Abom almost without taking any damage from the boss (only a bit from Wilbur).

I killed the Vvulf with an Abomination and the party had almost zero stress at the end of the fight. And he can self-heal, stress and hp, which makes him a tank imho. In the front rows he is a fast, solid, and reliable damage dealer, in the middle rows a great stunner and blighter (use Padlock of Transference). I use him a lot, often 2 or even 3 in one party. Either you use the Restraining Padlock to mitigate the stress (not really necessary in my opinion) or you have a stress healer, which is generally a good idea.
